I'd like to give this to the next Mac Fanboy I see

There's software out there take can take advantage of the motion sensor, and use it for video games along with alarm systems. Pretty cool.

They used it to switch b/w MAC and Windows before I've seen. I probably couldn't find the video, but the person just hit one side of the screen to get to Mac, and the other side of the screen to get to Windows, so it can detect what side the motion is on. I didn't think the motion sensor was that in depth though, lol.

is this what you're talking about?

And it turns out the Macbook Pro does have tilt sensors

Yeah, I wouldn't mess around with the sensor. It's made to park your hard drive in case of a sudden jolt or drop.

That's actually pretty cool... I still don't understand the reason for this thread though...

I can think of very many ways that a tilt sensor on a laptop could actually help though, so its a pretty good idea.

this is awesome...

I remember reading a post on another forum about entropy,

if anyone has ever used the putty tool for generating random keys where you move the mouse about on a pad to get a random movement to get a unique random key will know what I'm on about)...

it'd be much cooler to create the random key by physically picking up the machine and giving it a little shake!

this actually makes me want a mac!
