worshipme Golden Master Messages 5,603 Mar 4, 2008 #2 They are very cheap for quad cores that's true although not quite as well performing as the Q6600. They should work on AM2 motherboards as long as the manufacturer has released a BIOS update, you just won't get all the features that AM2+ brings.
