Driver question

That may be the limitation of the monitor. You usually only get the settings the monitor will support.

What monitor are you using?

Currently I am using Dell d1025tm 17" vga and I am getting a SAMSUNG 216BW Black-Silver 21.6" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 3000:1(1000:1).

Can I use current drivers or will I need the new one?

I am pretty sure this is the new drivers I will need:

My video card is Intel 82945g express chipset family.

Can someone verify this for me please?

The Samsung natively supports 1680 x 1050 so you should have that option when you first boot up with the new monitor. If you don't have that resolution after installing the new monitor, then you should download and install the drivers you listed.

Thanks Atomic Rooster, celegorm and borat_sagdiyev for all your hope. I promise next time to pay attention to what I type instead of watching tv. I appreciate all your help.
