How good is that show? have you seen that episode when James tries to recreate their theme song by using clips of car engines producing notes? They modified it in a studio and it was still so bad haha.

It's a complicated debate to resolve but look up Mike Mangini, Virgil Donati, Jotan Afanador, Tom Grossett, Matt Smith, Art Verdi and George Kollias. It depends what area of drumming you're referring to, either bmp in double bass pedals or bmp on a snare is popular, I wouldn't know enough though to be honest.

But what about... Satyricon's Drummer Frost.

He's pretty good but I think he's easily beaten when compared to others world-wide.

Top Gear is easily one of the best shows I've ever watched. Apart from The Office and Scrubs (both of which are just as good), there is no other show that is as good as Top Gear.

as for another Australian band im listening to (although no where near "intense"):

The John Butler Trio - Ocean

edit - This song called Blood on the Swans by Kataklysm has some pretty fast drumming similar to The Berzerker
