My question now is Vista or Xp. I'm leaning towards Vista because im sure as time goes on more and more people will only have Vista.

Also, if i do get Vista, what should i get for other programs like anti virus?
Should i get Spybot seek and destroy? Any other recomended programs to keep it running good?

i would say go with vista ,your cpu and video can and ram handle it

download AVG Free for anti-virus and spybot search and destroy,
my computer has both of them and is keeping my computer clean

Not a lot, I'm just going to look for ones that have a good rating on newegg and get those because i dont need anything special and i want it to last. I was considering these:

I might even get one of those keyboard+mouse packages and get some nicer speakers. Right now that build comes to around $800 (i think)..

That's the exact same mouse I got. It's great.

Edit: COMODO Anti-virus and firewall are great.

Ok, nice im glad to hear that. Sometimes the mouse i have right now gets all messed and when i try to drag it on a diagonal slope it just goes strait across like its stuck on this on bar...

What anti virus do you use? This computer has Symantec anti virus my uncle put on here. I guess it does pretty good? I'm not sure how to compare it because i've never had any other anti virus programs.
