Maxing out a game entails running it at 1920x1080 while never dropping below 40FPS. 3 8800Ultra's can't max it out, none of you guys can. Sure I can max out Crysis at 800x600

read the post and dont call me a liar. altho youre right maxing a game out would be at its highest resolution with a good FPS i did not mean that, i said i could play it at 1680x1050 at a goodish FSP not a great FPS. more of an opinion not a scientific fact and it is playable at those settings on my rig

Yes, a computer of now could max it out, but at the highest resolution? No.
I don't really see the resolution as a factor when it comes to maxing a game out. You run what you can run with comfortably.
As long as you are running with full settings in that resolution (Take a CRT for example), then, whats the problem?

Is my PS3/XBox 360 more inferior and isn't maxing out games its running because its running at 720p? Didn't think so.
