What HDD to get?

Never heard of Excelstor, you might want to stick to the better known brands like western digital, hitachi and seagate.

Edit: the reviews on it are good, I'd go for it then.
 
Brand name wise, yes. It is backed by a great warranty and they do have good customer service.

Performance wise, it may lag behind the Exelstor a bit because of it's smaller cache.
 
i just put together a whole build, do you mind checking it out? Its going to be my first build so i need some advice on changes and what not..also i need to make sure everything will work together.

Then i got a mouse, keyboard, and speakers picked out. Still need a cheap monitor though.

What do you think? I was trying to keep at at $200 its about $233 (not including shipping or a monitor)
