Sharing Internet Connection

Hey, I want to connect my desktop to my latop via ethernet cable to share the internet connection. My laptop is connected wirelessly from the router in the other room. Basically my problem is, when I plug in the ethernet cable to the desktop and to the laptop, it says something like "Connection is limited or not connnected" . Can someone give me some simple instructions on how to get internet connection to my desktop through the wireless laptop?

Use the network setup wizard, it should tell you how to do it.
