Wierd Computer Problems!!!

My computer is being weired someone try and diagnose this PLEASE. Here are the symptoms.

- Computer restarts/freezes

- Some Applications say i have a trojan Win32 or sometin...

- Norton Virus Scan wont work, it says "Windows has encountered a problem"

- Click webpages and it goes to a random website ( clicked this site and it took me to Spike TV )

- Have to unplug and plug in my modem/router for my connection to come back temporarily

Virus? Start it up in Safe Mode and run an anti-virus...or at least try to.

Yup, it definitely sounds like you have a virus/trojan.

If you don't have them already, download and run these:

Ad-Aware 2007 Free

Spybot S&D

Yes, it definitely looks like what was happening to me last night, a trojan. Restart a hit F8 constantly just before the Windows logo appears to get into safe mode.

its a virus , do a scan in safe mode , but do not use norton . its crap

use the 2 that atomic rooster posted and this one.
