If your positive your speakers are fine, then just get a sound blaster audigy 2 or 4.
It will serve you well, without breaking the bank.

exactly, make sure its not the speakers just try some other ones if it is that then go on newegg and read some reviews and see what kind of card best suits you for what youll be using the sound card for.
