Is there anyway to do this or can someone point me in the direction to do so.

I know that most factory computers lock the bios. but yeah like i said I have a GT5252, it has a 4600+ X2 and I just want to see what I can get out of it.

thanks in advance!

You can use a program from within the OS that can overclock it I think. I don't know the name of it but somebody on here will. What are the specs of it?

clockgen

speedfan

cpuz

I use all of these when overclocking for monitors and actually overclocking the system.

I mean a program that allows you to change FSB and multipliers etc from inside the OS. Something like ASUS's AI Booster. Remember, the BIOS is locked on his PC.

I also have passive cooling on my proc, think its still safe?
or should I try and find a new cpu cooler to replace it.

Also is there a guide to OCing on this forum?

edit: looking at Zune guide, thanks Aowen!

Download PC Wizard 2008 to check your processor temps. As for OC'ing, I could help you if it's an Intel processor, if it's an AMD, there are other people more skilled in that department, so I'll leave it to them.
