ok i have 2 freinds that wanna build a computer therebudget is 600 bucks could someone help me with a layout for them the has a 8600gt

i'd sudgest a amd dual core..... you can get the 5000 x2 for 100 bux and its 2.6ghz and all that. so yeah, go amd for a budget no matter what lol

Neo why would you get a $150 mobo on a $600 budget :|?

I think they don't have a 8600GT...they just want to include one...

I think Neodude's build is nice, but I would choose this mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130098 And use the extra money to buy some Corsair XMS2 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 I would also include the HD 3850 256MB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102714 The performance gain over an 8600GT would be immense. And for the PSU, This is good:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153052

they willl be useing it for gameing umm my one friend does have a 8600gs the other doesnt idont believe they have an os

Im used to Australian Currency,a $150 Motherboard is pretty good,I dont know good motherboard prices in US$ lol.

Ok,For gaming,i would sell that GS and then use the left over money to buy the 8600GT.

600 dollars is a rather tight budget if you need to purchase an O/S as well.
