So Crysis on high maxed out @ 1920x 1200 :D?

Thanks.

Very nice. Although if that computer is mostly for gaming, then I would recommend going for a Wolfdale C2D. An E8400 or E8500 as games aren't threaded for quads so dual cores often outperform them and cost less and produce less heat and consume less power. Also, I would recommend going for some DDR2 1200MHz RAM if you want the best as it outperforms all DDR3 RAM because of it's latencies. Apart from that, FB rig!

Ha, Crysis at that resolution would eat that computer for breakfast. Wait for the GeForce 9800GX2 to come out, that MIGHT stand a chance.

Thats sad to say but it is true.
Crisis on my comp running at 1440 x 900 all settings on medium and i get about 24 fps at best

LOL! I play Crysis on high settings @ 1440x900 with my 8800GTS. I'm sure that system can more than handle Crysis. It should run it on Ultra settings if using Vista and DX10.

Are you really gonna make me find the article with tri-8800Ultras that can't max it out?

At what FPS, like 15? 40 is considered playable buddy...

Yup. Find that article.

I don't rightly know how many FPS it was getting. It was fully playable without any problems so if must have been decent. Heck, my kid could even do 29 FPS on high settings with his 7900GS @ 1024x768 with an A64 X2 3800+. :D

Well I won't be building for 3-4 months, I was just fantasizing (sp?) =]

If the 9800GX2 really does cost about $430 as said on Tom's, I'll buy two.

If I had that kind of money to spend on a new system, I'd probably do the same thing. :D

Well...my Dad granted me $2,000 after begging for years and getting straight A+s xD I thought he was joking at first XD

I also have 2,000 in my bank account..

So technically I have 4,000. But the most I'd be willing to spend would be 3,000.
