nfs prostreet problems

when i play nfs pro street, the cmd box shows up then the screen turns black and goes to full screen, after a few seconds, the screen just minimizes and the mouse pointer disappears but you could still use the computer, just without the mouse pointer. does anyone have a solution to this?

Have you tried uninstalling everything from the game, and then re-installing it?

what are your system specifications?

P4 3.00 ghz, 1gb ram VIsiontek Radeon HD2600PRO 256 mb.
i fixed the problem but now i have another one,
when i start playing, and it gets into a race, the screen constantly flickers to a black screen and back to the main screen. it just keeps flickering like that.

Im thinking its a driver problem, try reinstalling them.
dont use the overdrive drivers, there SH1t. catalyst FTW

the only drivers i could use are the ones from visiontek because none of the other ones work. and visiontek ones are like a modded version of catalyst. so i still have catalyst.
