help. windows xp pro sp2 install hang.

when installing windows xp pro sp2 i get through the blue screens where the setup installs, all the files copy to the hard drive, but when it restarts, and asks to change the resolution size it freezes.

it will be on the "Windows XP please wait..." screen.

does anyone know how to fix this?

we tried a new hard drive, but that didnt help it still hangs on the same spot.

Don't let it change the resolution, install the video drivers BEFORE changing the resolution.

I did the same thing when I first started installing os'es bugged the hell outta me

i will try a different cd if that thing with drivers doesnt work.
