Is there a way to make a XP Pro box into a DHCP server? I need a DHCP server on the other side of a router and I remember there is a way to do it, I just can't find anything on it.

Any Help is appreciated. :)

This is a 3rd party DHCP server. I am not sure if windows XP pro comes with a DHCP service in their IIS, but I KNOW that windows xp home wouldnt have it.

To check if it does, go to start>CP>add/remove programs>Windows components>IIS>see if its there, you will need your windows disc to install it.

Once it is installed, you can setup address reservations etc... if you need. Make sure that you disable the DHCP service running on your router, or you will have two DHCP servers fighting over clients and this could cause some huge problems.
