Bloody Screen

tried JScreenFix to get rid of dead pixels
its got worse and worse... started in october

got the monitor 2 years last October (so i thinks it's out of warranty)

Tried rubbing it whil using Jscreenfix some goes but loads left. then it gets worse/comes back when i turn the pc back on

they dont ship to UK , plus i cant afford a new LCD
IS it possible to get a spare LCD (the actualy LCD part of a screen) off the internet somewhere

Hmm... well the newegg equivalent in the UK is http://www.microdirect.co.uk/

IMO, you would be better off getting a new one when you have the money to. It would just be a huge hassle trying to find an lcd screen, then installing it. Plus, it would cost quite a bit as well.

guess what. went to pc world. they rang samsung. getting it replaced within 5-7 days at my house

samsung is very unclear on there website:

I mean they say 24 months for LCD monitor
36 months for a colour monitor

i got mine bout 30 months ago hehe
