i have bought 2x 1gb sticks of geil black dragon pc2-6400 (ddr2-800) and allready have 2x 1gb sticks of samsung pc2-5300 (ddr-667) will they be ok together ?

well I'm not too sure. but if they do of course I'd dual channel the different pairs
 
They'll both run at 667 if the latencies are the same or can be set the same in the bios

Lowest common denominator wins.
 
pfff so i wont be able to run my geil at 800 ? cant i overclock my samsung to equal the geil its allready at 800
 
You can try. You'll have to set the DRAM timing manually in the BIOS so that the speed works out to 800MHZ. If it doesn't boot, then obviously the Geil wont run at that speed.
 
Try it and see I guess, the Samsung "should" be able to run at 800MHz, it's not a big leap, the latencies are more important. Are they both CAS4? CAS5?
 
yeah, what timings are they rated at?

and also, yes, they will all run at the speed of the slowest ram
