do you guys know of any good freeware that will block certain website for parental controls? my lil bro just got busted for looking at porn and my mom asked how to set parental controls to prevent him from going on these sites. do you guys know of any good ways?

Try this: http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ that one is free and should have all the stuff you're looking for. It lets you choose categories and keywords of what you want to block. It's also very easy to install and use.

K9 IS good or try PEER GUARDIAN there is a draw back to K9, if you are running multiple accounts and set the filter up it will filter ALL accounts, that is really annoying, I tried for hours to get round it and failed.

Some routers can be set to block URLs or content. If they have a router, look into that.

umm yeah like stated above my router also has an area when you go to router settings via gateway ip address, to block URLS, but that wont work becuase that is for specific URL's you need something that would block out certain words or phrases. Ill look around in a sec and get back to you on a program.
