i was given a 21" Mitsubishi Diamondtron CRT monitor by a friend last week and i'm running it dual screen with a 16" dell. i was wondering if a dvi to 5 BNC cable would give me a better image than D-SUB? I'm clueless in this field so all help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with those types of connections, but your monitor shouldn't really notice a large difference in picture quality if you're using a CRT monitor.

they are a locking co-ax. it's a fairly nice moniter and i would like to get all out of it i can. i'm running at 1800x1440 and it's clear but if i can get a little better quality i wouldn't complain. the cables arn't taht bad(most are $12-$20 dvi - 5 BNC) i've done a little research and with the big moniters it helps a lot. i'm just wondering if it's worth bother with at all or if it's a fading technology and not go through with all the hassle.
