if u have the chance to get an Ultra go for it. new games are gonna be more and more demanding. since the 9800 is coming out soon.

i say get a better monitor and run higher resulotions,and just buy a 8800 gts dont need a ultra!

If you can, wait a few weeks for the release of the 9800GX2. Much faster than either of those setups, and it'll only cost $450 supposedly.

He could run it at a high res if he wanted too, and still get good FPS, he just doesnt.

Even if you can get 200FPS, it wont matter. If you are using a monitor, it can go up to 85 possibly, but most will stop at 60 on the highest res, and tvs also stop at 60...

You will see 200 FPS as long as your refresh rate is 200.
