Removing CD Bezel/cover?

How do you do this? I'm not talking about the case that has the ejector on, but the actual drive cover itself. Is it possible to remove that and replace it? Or does the manufacturer make it unique?

It depends on the model. Some come with different covers.
Many covers will just clip off. Some can be quite tricky, and some don't want to come off at all. You'll just have to try picking at yours and see how it feels.

Some offer either black or white. As far as colors other than those two I haven't seen any. If you want to color it the way to get it off is simple.
Near the front on the top and bottom of the housing you'll see a couple of places where the front bezel clips lock in. Push down and pull the bezel away from the box at the same time. When you have released all four it comes off. Use nail polish or plastic spray paint to add your color to it. The end of the disc draw is harder to get off but it basicly the same principle. Be careful. You can screw up the drive train for the drawer.
