more Steam problems

is ne one else suffering form extremly slow Steam service

long loading times, downloading maps on CSS

on CSS, it use to take me like 15-30 decs to join a game, mabey a min. to download a map

now it takes upwards of 5-10 min just to retrive server and send my client info

is it steam or is it my Comp?

Try not to think of steam as the root of everything that happens with a game that happens to be on steam.

You may have been joining a slow server, your computer might be acting up, or your internet is having problems.
Try thinking of all the possibilities before thinking of steam as the problem.

Why does everyone hate Steam? I love it, it never gives me problems and I really think it's a great client.

well.....i closed out some backround tasks, and restarded steam, and its al good know.......

ive been sighnd into steam for like 8 days straight, mabey thats y?

Possibly. Winodws tends to get edgy when left on for a whole week or longer.
