60fps - LOCKED

but when its at 60 moveing and turning does become much smoother

screen refresh rate is 85hz

alright, so refresh rate is 85hz -> no point in having a higher fps than 85.
So you have nothing to worry about.

Stop saying stuff that isn't true. The human eye can see over 200 FPS

It's not an opinion, it's fact. If you have 100Fps, but only a Refresh rate of 60, you won't see a difference between 60FPS and 100FPS because the screen is only refreshing 60times per second. If you have a refresh rate of 100 and FPS of 100, you'll notice the difference between 60 and 100FPS.

fpx_max 101.

What method do you use to disable vsync? the nvidia control panel is the most effective way of doing it.
