i got this motherboard

now i got this from a friend
first off if the cpu isnt pushed down hard it just keeps a high frequency beep and smokes
second when its not beeping, it doesnt beep at all
but it might my psu because it doesnt run in 115 mode
third its not getting any video and both cards i no work
so i need some help

i dont think thats good.


and i think you'd save urself a headache by saving up for something newer
those are some old parts :/

no i want to keep this for a server
no when the heatsink doesnt apply a lot of pressure it beeps

Are you sure that the CPU cooler is supposed to fit on your motherboard?

yeah it fits but thats not the main problem, i need it so i get video to the screens

Well the reason that your friend gave it to you is because it doesn't work. Sounds like one or the other is fried.
