how do i hook this up?

well i just bought a motherboard
it has one ide port, how do i hook up my hard drive and my cd/dvd drive to it?

if they're both IDE, you put the hard drive on the end of the cable, and the D drive mid-way on the cable and set it to be the slave

Each cable that goes from the mobo to the hdd should have one end that goes to your mobo, and then the other end has two ports. One should be labled slave, the other one master. Simply put the port in the hdd labled slave.

nope you will need if you have two graphics cards and want them in SLI mode though.
