I just burn an iso file on to and CD its windows xp and whenever I restart my computer it doesn't boot from CD. Help? please? Thank you

What program are you using to burn it?

Use Nero Burning Rom, then try burning it through there.

Ahh damn does this mean i have to use a new CD?

It is a CD-Rw does this mean i can format it some how?

When you restart your computer you need to go into the boot loader and choose the drive that the cd is in. Then start up in that drive and that will start for iso file. Depending on your computer you may have to hit ESC or another key at the very beginning of your computer loading.

are you burning as ISO? or how are you burning it?

wmorri has the right idea.

Make sure the CDROM is set to be the first boot device in the BIOS. With the CD in the drive, boot your computer and look for a prompt saying "Press any key to boot to CDROM".
