laptop problems

ive been getting "windows has failed to start" problems on my dell 1520 laptop. it is just random. the only thing updated is to 3 gigs of ram. as far as the software i recently updated adobe acrobat and that is when it has started. it is a legal copy of vista and legal copy of all adobe products...any ideas?

You can do a restore with the Vista disc if you have it. You'll have to ask some one else how to do that though, I never figured out how to use the restore thing on the disc of XP, and I've never used Vista other than Vista lite...

You could try rebooting into safe mode and uninstalling Adobe reader, this should fix the problem.
