Big Issue!!HELP

Hmms, i can take most files of the HD, i just can't get the files off my documents, because it says "unauthorized access" or whatever (its because my account i put a password and only i can access it when I'm logged in -- cant do it here because I'm logged in as my dad). So anyone know ANY way of doing it.

Ah shoot, I forgot something: Boot from your Windows XP CD and look to see if there is an option to repair. That sometimes helps a lot for messed up OSes.

so how would i go about doing that. Inserting my CD in and then booting??? I have no idea, tell me how i would do what you said PLEASE

Normally you just stick in the OS disk, let it run, and there will be a button to push to repair. I do believe it is "R" when you get to the right screen.

I did it, but it goes something about administrator pw? whats that?

also asked something about which windows xp do i want to boot or omsehist, and i press 1. and it worked.. so bleh i dont know wats i'm doing lol
