Yeah?

Should i be getting it?

But i have the XP cd so i think ill use that unless i do get vista...

You don't need 4 gigs of RAM, and I don't believe it will all register in a 32-bit OS, which is what I think he was getting at. 2 will run just about anything exceptionally. Also if I were you I would cut the quad and just go with a cheaper dual, quads are kind of useless right now and I don't see them becoming fully utilized for another 3 or 4 years. We all know how well dual cores are utilized now.

But everyone here seems to be quad core crazy. You will see much better gains in gaming by spending the money saved from the dual on a nicer GPU, or just saving it altogether.

Also if you're a fan of big fans (lol) take a look at this case. It's a little fancier, might be your style.

Hmm ok...

Do you think this computer will be able to run Crysis good?

I think it should run it fine ;)

Ok cool,

I will defiantly over clock it so ill get even better performance.

Thanks,

any other suggestions?

A good CPU cooler. Don't know about Intel coolers but I do know Arctic Cooling makes good products for pretty cheap, may want to look into those.

i'm running the q6600 at stock speeds and i'm having no trouble running crysis. and D-lew, the quads do make a difference when multitasking. may not run the game faster than a quad though, not sure how crysis handles quad cores
