ASUS 7600gs silent vs PNY 8500gt

I currently have the ASUS one installed and am pretty happy with it. i dont game much but do watch dvds and what not... i currently am still on a crt moniter but im gonna invest in a 720p hdtv soon... i also just picked up the 8500gt today either to upgrade or resell. Will i really see any diff in pic quality if i upgrade?

i REALLY dont like the quality of PNY. but u could try it and see if u notice a difference

the only difference is DX10, i think the 7600GS is a more powerful card than the 8500

It is, but in fact, the 7600GS silent is without a fan, right? If so, you might also want to consider having cood cooling of that sort.
