borat is right, the video standard is different, they use PAL\SECAM while the US uses NTSC, the games are not compatible.

better tell here before she buys one

yea. just get the english manual and change the language. make sure the camera supports english first of all

The camera charger wouldnt work over here either then would it? Unless it just takes AAs.
