New comp problem.

It has a red light and a green light, they both turn on, then the red turns off after a second or so

Wait RED light?. mines green i havn't seen a Red one. um read ur book and MAKE SURE its supposed to red

that might be his HD

do you know which one is power and which is harddrive indicator?

I'm not sure but I think the red one is the HD because when I have both of my hard drives plugged in the red light stays on

um these are both on ur mobo right?

can u give us a link to ur mobo. on newegg or the manufactures website. that may help a little

OH ur case.i was talkin about on ur mobo. ha. well check to see if u have a green light on ur mobo. that means that ur gettin power to everything. etc. etc.

On the motherboard I get a Green, Blue, and Yellow light that come on.

wow. ok cant help ya there. reseat ur GFXCard and try swopping ur outputs on ur card

Could it be possible that only part of the board is shocked? Or is it if you shock it anywhere the whole thing is shot?
