If you ask me, it's just like Sony to shove their own proprietary formats down the throats of consumers. Look at the PSP and it's use of Sony's MemoryStick Pro. They could've easily gone with SD or Micro SD, but instead they had to use a proprietary format so you HAD to buy their overpriced memory cards in order to store data on the PSP.
