im just looking for some good programs to check like benchmarks score for my comp, and things to manage speed fans, and the temps of the CPU, the little small things, anyothers ones would be cool to offer and talk about, and post links so i can download them

i mean i have speedfan, so programs like those, i have had some before on my old comp, but have since reformated HDD and forgot the names

GPU Benchmarks
http://www.rightmark3d.org/ (Good small app for benching)
http://www.futuremark.com/download/ (Free version and paid version Pretty much the universal testing method)
There are various games that have built in benchmarking. A few I can think of are Lost Planet, World in Conflict, Crysis, BF2142 i'm sure there are more just look in the bin files.

CPU
Everest is pretty much the best app see blackjacks post for links
http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir=&location=downandbuy&langx=en&a= (Sandra is pretty much like Everest with similar benchmarks. I think the charts are better in Sandra)

Stress testing
http://www.mersenne.org/ (Prime95)
http://www.overclock.net/attachment...20060420-orthos_exe_20060420.zip?d=1165737486 (Orthos only 1 app needed to stress duals and 2 apps for quads vs 2/4 for prime95)

Caveman mentioned a few Diagnostic tools.

You mentioned the whole computer, the best one for that I think is 3dmark which is almost at the top of Mattie's list there. It's insanely large though.

For CPU monitoring I use coretemp.

For CPU stressing I use Orthos.

For GPU stressing (overclocking and testing for artifacts mostly) I use ATItool.

For CPU benchmarking I just use Superpi mod. It's very fast and to the point.

Another good program which is worth mentioning is RivaTuner, you can do a lot with it, but the interface is somewhat confusing at times.

And I think that's about it.
