New home built computer running slow

Im going to make an everist report and post it, and im using XP.

Just took another look at your memory. Run memtest on it, see how many errors you get. Apparently some people have been reporting serious and numerous errors. Some people reported errors in the thousands. I really think this is your problem, as the temps everest did give you are fine.

Also if the timings aren't at 4-4-4-12 try manually forcing them to that if memtest doesn't report errors.

Thermal throttling could be kicking in, check your temps.

I did a memtest up to 200 or so % and got no errors, but I cant see what else may be going on. The ammount of lag my computer is giving me is ridiculous, its not thats its just a little, its alot and im not even running many programs.

I dont really understand how to set the timing to 4-4-4-12

What power supply are you using? should be at least 600 to 800 watts i hope... may not be able to run your card at full speed...?

The only thing I can think of right now is make sure you have all the correct and/or updated drivers for your hardware.

Should be fine for your rig. Temps don't seem crazy. This is a hard one :-/

Could this be a compatibility issue or something? I'm running out of ideas here, tempted to bring it to get it repaired.
