Apparently. Remember SLI doesn't really scale well, that's basically what it is. I think because of this ATI will take the lead, CrossFire scales better.

very true too. the 8800 Ultras are rediculously priced. Dual core GPU's , rated 30% (give or take) are gonna be outragiously priced

Well, the 9800GTX and 9800GT will probably drive the prices down a little bit.

The 9800GX2 is not "true" dual core cpu, its a lot like a q6600 just two chips sandwiched together, but in this case two pcb's sandwiched together.

yeah i know. they explained it as. "an 8800 GPU that has been die shrunk to 65nm and placed in an SLI configuration in a "single" card."

so if u run SLI with two 9800's then theres some serious 1.$$ChaChing$$ 2.POWER!
