I don't blame you, for the $$$ per GB DDR3 is still cost prohibitive, I wouldn't be upgrading to it at this stage had I not picked up that 2GB kit in the competition.

Corsair is pretty good memory. I prefer G.Skill but theres a lot of forumers here that like Corsair.
