Good memory?

Is this good memory? Or should I go for something else? I'm willing to perhaps spend a tiny bit more. Any suggestions?

The memory is to go with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 iP35. I'm also getting a Intel Core 2 Duo E4500, and may be overclocking in the future.

Does Gigabyte have a QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for their boards like Asus does? The modules compatable with your board should be listed there.

So do I. Kingston is good stuff, with a lifetime warrenty, cant beat that. OCZ is a bit cheaper and good as well.

Asus P5E3 already ordered, delivery mid next week



HyperX is good ram if you want to spend $$$ but there are cheaper products out there that will do the job.

I've always used HyperX, my son has 2x 512MB Hyperx DDR400 in his box from when I upgraded, I have 4x 1GB DDR26400 in this box, and now the DDR311000. I changed the DDR29600 I had on order to the P5E3 when I found out I had won the DDR3.

I've never had a bum stick of HyperX yet and they overclock fine.

I'm sounding like a fanboy now, lmao.

My next upgrade will probably be a P5E, but I think I'll keep my DDR2.
