PC doesn't detect my NIC card?

I reinstalled my OS and when I tried to get back online my windows XP doesn't even detect the nic card...it's not even listed in the device manager...and it worked perfect before..any ideas?

If it's onboard, have you reinstalled the motherboard chipset drivers?

If it's PCI, try running the driver install.

if it is pci, and still doesn't work after u install drivers, it should show up in Device Manager then , enable it then and should be good

Hold on, are you sure it's not listed in Other Devices as PCI Network Interface card or PCI device or Unknown device?

reinstalled the drivers and everything is fine now
