wow please help

my storage drive just automatically took over and now it starts up on it and it detects it as a differt type, wow please help, my primary is acting as a secondary and my secondary is acting as a primary, thanks in advanced

Did you install an Operating System on your external by any chance?

well it was my old one, and yeah it does but ive ran it with out any problems and all of a sudden this! hahai unhooked it and my computer seems to run fine thanks

Ok, well here's what we'll do: Take out the OS on your external. Simply put your important files on your mains hard drive, format it and simply replace back all the important stuff.

alright, thanks, i might just keep it as a back up drive if i ever this one ever fails, it seemed slower with 2 anyways...

well, if you can, go into the BIOS and make sure the boot order is set to boot from the internal hard drive first. That's how to proceed.
