What I can tell you to do is go to the computer department and ask them to check the SKU in our system. It will tell us if there is any coming on the next truck (in transit), and they may possibly be able to Customer Fulfill your order, where it is shipped to your house.

Sounds like this particular store is full of, hmm.. not so bright people.

Remember your probably talking to a seasonal employee who isn't as experienced as those who have been around for a while.

This is for my store.. I'm sure most stores follow a similar example at the least.

Why not just order online? Saves you time of having to go to the store and wait for it there when you can just order it. You may get it a little later, but it doesn't seem you are getting it anytime soon anyway...
