There aren't any software programs I'm aware of. You would have to use a temperature probe or something.

Ouch that sucks. If I did that I don't think the labtop would work anymore because I would have chucked it across the parking lot lol. Hopefully it turns on. But like others have said I'd leave it off for a week and make sure its dried out. Maybe even take the case apart to help it dry and inspect it for water.

That's pretty lucky, that's only happened to me when it's completely screwed, like when I left a new mobile phone in my pants and it went through a full cycle in the washing machine lmao that was hopeless, I tried but it was dead. My memory is horrible with that, left it in my pocket.
