Sound Driver Issues

[N_350Z]

Right, so I go to Device Manager, scan for new changes, Multimedia Audio Controller pops up (which I'm guessing is my speakers, as it doesn't make sense for it to be anything else) and it tries searching for a driver, but nothing pops up.

Need a solution quick, because otherwise I'll have to drag my TV over to my computer desk because the only ethernet cable I have is about five feet long.

You don't have the motherboard/soundcard driver disk in the drive when you press search?
