No, Rudster is right. It's the GPUs that are playing catch up ATM, not CPUs. That 3600+ X2 will go fine with an 8800GTS (the old one that is), I think TBH that there would probably be a little bit of a bottleneck with the new G92 GTS.

This will be your choice for a dual core, I'd go for that.

I agree. I was gonna get the 5600+ because it is a great processor for the price.
