Monitor or Graphics card?

Hi,
I have a prob my work computer,i switch it on and nothing shows on screen.
I know it is not the monitor i have tried it with my current machine i am writing this on.
Is it the Graphics card????
I manged to get the HDD stop beeping.(Another story)
Any help Would Be appreiated.
