Q6600 Overclocking.

Why wouldn't you want to overclock a quad core, that's part of the fun in building a PC!

Anyway, I'm really not sure how the 965 chipsets do when it comes to overclocking quads, but that doesn't mean you can't. Just raise FSB until you run into issues, then raise either Vcore, northbridge Vcore, or RAM Vcore. You will have to play around with it, since no 2 identical computers will overclock the same.

Also make sure the FSB:RAM is in 1:1 ratio. Just set the memory speed so it matches the FSB when using CPU-Z .

Edit: I thought you could OC the standard Intel motherboards. Don't they just limit how much you can by like 30% or something?
 
He probably could, but it's not really recommended. If you can get a good OC, then cool.
