newegg raised the price of the gpu I was going to buy tomorrow by $20! Damn the system! (post 100! well it was 100 before I edited)

That's the cheapest 512mb on newegg. Tigerdirect doesn't even have them now.

Don't bother getting the 512MB version of the 8800GT, the 256MB performs just as well umless you're going to play at like 15000x10000, plus 256s are very cheap and with the money you save you could maybe get another 2gigs of RAM.
