so i had an 512 and a 1 gb of ram, and they both were pc2 5300, so i went out today and got another 512 and 1 gb of ram.
when i try dual channeling all of them, my computer wont start, not even a post beep. when i try the 2 512 together, it was still single channel and it only showed 512, when i try dual channeling both the 1 gb, all i get is just doing long beeps.
all rams work with single channel.
i have an DFI infinity NF ultra II M2 motherboard with an amd 64 X2 4400+.
any help?

Do you have the two 512's in one color slot, and the 2 1 gigs in the other color?

yep, i tried the 2 512 in the blue, and the 2 1 gb in the black.
and vice versa.
and they still dont work

yep, they all are pc2 5300
and i tried them all one by one, and they all work

Hmm. . . Try clearing your BIOS. I had a similar problem when adding another gig to my comp. It just wouldn't boot until after I cleared it.

the user manual says it supports up to 4 gb, and dual channel
how do i clear the bios?
is it the same as flashing it?

Your manual should show the location of the CMOS jumper and how to clear the BIOS. You just unplug your comp and switch the jumper on the pins for 30 seconds to a minute, then switch it back over. Or you could just remove the CMOS battery for the same amount of time. That will reset the BIOS to it's default settings.
