From what I've heard with the SLI on that card, the performance is terrible.
He's best off with one powerful card

Nope, the card itself is SLI so you really don't get that much of a boost.

Yep, since the way it's built I believe, is basically just built in SLI on one card.
From reviews though, it doesn't look too good at all.

The 7950 GX2 is a nice performing card, but the new 8800GT series card will outperform quite easily.
